WELCOME TO OUR SITE

This small and vibrant community of several villages and smaller hamlets is located within the heart of the beautiful and historic Welsh Borders, just a few miles away from the famous second-hand book centre of Hay-on-Wye. This tranquil upland area has been coveted and fought for by Roman legionnaires, Norman knights, Welsh princes and English kings and has much to entertain the visitor looking for beautiful scenery, peace and quiet and historic delights, such as the ramparts of Offa's Dyke, the legacy of the Drovers and the reminiscences of the Reverend Francis Kilvert.  This is our story.
