Rhosgoch Young Farmers
What is Young Farmers?
Young Farmers is where young people aged between 10-26 years old can socialise while meeting people and making new friends. Rhosgoch Young Farmers Club is part of Radnor YFC Federation of Young Farmers and was formed in 1943 and have recently celebrated their 75th Anniversary. The very first meeting was held in a candle lit vestry in Rhosgoch Chapel. The meeting was held to announce that they had disbanded as a youth club and had joined the Radnor Federation of Young Farmers Clubs and is one out of thirteen clubs in Radnorshire. There are a range of different competitions held throughout the YFC year suitable for any YFC member. Some of the competitions include craft, cooking, flower arranging, singing, dancing, acting, stock judging and sport, to name a few. This shows that Young Farmers is not all about farming, which means anyone can join and have the opportunity to learn something new. Meetings are held at Painscastle Hall at 7:30pm unless otherwise stated, Please contact any of the Rhosgoch YFC officials, who can be found at the bottom of this page, for more information.
